Joe Average holds his piece of the pie tighter
And says that love for his fellow man
Extends as far as his arms can swing
In the land of the free, altruism and social responsibility
Can be had on the cheap
In the land of the free, you get what you pay for
Even if it means overpaying
For something that shouldn’t be for sale
Even if it means settling
For Average
